Quick & Easy White Bread

Baking a simple loaf can be incredibly easy and once you have tried it, you'll find yourself wanting homemade bread more often. This is a simple, basic loaf of bread.

1 Loaf
Ingredients:
500gr flour
10gr instant yeast
2 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil
300ml warm water
Instructions:
Combine the flour, yeast & salt in a large bowl. Mix well before slowly adding the olive oil & warm water. Sprinkle a generous layer of flour on your counter & knead the dough for 10 minutes, adding a further sprinkle of flour if the dough begins to stick to the counter.
Place in a bowl, cover with cling film & allow to prove for 1 hour.
Remove the cling film & lightly punch the ball of dough.
Re-shape into a round form, score an X on the top & lightly dust with flour.
Place in a pre-heated oven at 200c (220c for ovens that are not fan assisted) for 25 minutes.
You will know it is cooked if you knock on the base of the bread & hear a hollow sound.
